The Sugar Land Arts Fest aims to bring people together through art

A weekend arts festival is an excellent way to showcase the local arts scene, attract tourism and create an economic boost for a city.

A weekend arts festival is an excellent way to showcase the local arts scene, attract tourism and create an economic boost for a city. But not if no one shows up! By hosting a unique, exciting arts festival in the heart of Sugar Land, we’re hoping to draw large crowds from all over Houston and neighboring cities.


The Sugar Land Arts Fest aims to bring people together through art by showcasing local works and hosting interactive activities that everyone can enjoy. This year the festival will be taking place on April 23rd at the Smart Financial Center Plaza, from 10 am – 10 pm.


The Sugar Land Arts Festival is a celebration of the arts showcasing more than 75 visual artists from around the world, juried fine art and fine craft exhibition and sale.


Sugar Land Arts Festival features contemporary painting, sculpture, photography, glass art, mixed media art, woodworking, and jewelry designed and created by artists worldwide. Many pieces incorporate techniques such as metalwork and textiles to create an artistic style easily integrated into the home or office environment.


The Sugar Land Arts Festival is an annual event every year on the first Saturday in May. It is hosted by Sugar Land Heritage Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and improving Sugar Land’s unique heritage.


Sugar Land is one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas. Sugar Land is also home to a fantastic array of arts and cultural activities, including the annual Sugar Land Arts Festival.
